Allergy Awareness Weeks

Welcome to our Allergy Awareness Week hub, where all the information you may need to support your efforts during these weeks can be found.

How you can get involved

  • Raise awareness; use our tools to support conversations with your social circle, family, schools and workplaces to raise awareness of allergies and the impact on the day to day lives of people who are living with allergic disease.
  • Lived experiences; Real-life experiences shed light on the impact allergies have on individuals, families, and communities and foster understanding and empathy. Hear inspiring stories of resilience, triumph, and support, and if you feel able to, share your own story too. The more voices we have, the louder we make our call to be heard.
  • Donate to support those living with allergies: A host of FUNdraising ideas and other ways to donate to Allergy UK and the difference your donation can make. Every contribution can make a difference!

The aims of an Allergy Awareness Week should survive beyond just the week because allergies affect people 365 days a year.  We need our Allergy Awareness Week efforts to be part of a movement to build a more compassionate, informed, and inclusive society in relation to allergy.

By coming together, raising our voices, and taking action, we can create a world where everyone feels safe, supported, and understood, regardless of their allergies. Join us in spreading awareness, promoting empathy, and making a difference during Allergy Awareness Weeks and beyond.

Together, we can build a brighter future where the #timetotakeallergyseriously has arrived.

Spring Allergy Awareness Week 2024

For this year’s Allergy Awareness Week, we’re shouting louder than ever that allergies are #toobigtoignore. With 1 in 3 people already living with an allergy in the UK and a projected increase to 1 in 2 by 2026, we need to make our voices heard.

Whether you’re interested as an individual or an organisation, we need your help to encourage as many people as possible to get involved and recognise that allergies will soon affect us all.
