Martyn Day

Martyn Day, is a Scottish National Party politician, and has been representing Linlithgow and East Falkirk as a Member of Parliament since 2015. He has also served as SNP Spokesperson for Health since December 2021. With a background in banking, he made the shift to politics after completing his studies at the university. Throughout his career, Martyn has worked in both public and private sectors, collaborating with healthcare professionals, government agencies, and non-profit organisations.

He has been instrumental in implementing health education programs targeting widespread issues such as obesity, smoking cessation, and mental health awareness. He has also been a staunch supporter of marginalised communities and an advocate for greater equality. Day has consistently voiced his support for better health outcomes and providing accurate, evidence-based information to individuals and communities.
