Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Allergy Alert

Best Before: End of April 2023 / Batch L1278

Ben & Jerry’s is taking the voluntary precaution of recalling from Sainsbury’s one batch of Moo-phoriaTM Peanut Butter Cookie Dough which has the incorrect lid applied (Ben & Jerry’s Moo-phoriaTM Salted Caramel Brownie). However, the correct ingredient and allergen information is on the back of the tub.

As a result there is the potential undeclared presence of peanuts if consumers mistake the product for Ben & Jerry’s Moo-phoriaTM Salted Caramel Brownie.

The safety of the people that buy and enjoy products from Ben & Jerry’s is always their number one priority, which is why they are taking the voluntary precaution of recalling this one batch as it could pose a safety risk to those people with a peanut allergy.

No other Ben & Jerry’s products or retailers are affected. Ben & Jerry’s apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your co-operation.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

If you have purchased a Ben & Jerry’s Moo-phoriaTM Peanut butter Cookie Dough which has the incorrect lid, a batch code of L1278 and Best Before End date of 04/23 PLEASE DO NOT CONSUME IT.

Please contact their care line team on 0800 146252 or via ukicare@unilever.com.
