Expert allergy dietetic support for you or your child.
Allergy UK’s FREE Dietitian Service offers a one-off telephone appointment with a specialist allergy dietitian. The service supports people with suspected or diagnosed food allergies who are struggling to access appropriate allergy care or facing long waits for NHS appointments.
Our dietitians are experienced healthcare professionals with specialist knowledge of food allergy and related dietary conditions. The service provides tailored advice based on you or your child’s needs and aims to signpost you to ongoing local support.
The dietitian works transparently with your GP, sharing reports and recommendations to support joined-up care for appropriate management.
Before using the service, individuals should have discussed their concerns with their GP and should not currently be under the care of a dietitian or specialist allergy provider, to avoid confusion in their care.
