The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Allergy

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Allergy is a cross-party group of MPs and Lords who unite to address allergy-related issues and advocate for better care, awareness, and support for those living with allergies.

This group was re-established in 2025 through the efforts of the National Allergy Strategy Group (NASG), of which Allergy UK is a proud core member. Their dedication and collaboration have been crucial in making this happen.

The APPG works to ensure that the allergic community’s voice is heard at the highest levels. It’s a powerful step towards improved allergy services, research funding, and overall quality of life for millions of people. It advocates on behalf of the allergic community, working towards a brighter future for those living with allergic disease, and platforming their voices and experiences at the heart of parliamentary democracy.

Working alongside the APPG, Allergy UK is calling for urgent improvements to specialist allergy care. The need for trained allergists, improved diagnostic pathways, and equitable access to treatment has never been more critical. The APPG is a crucial platform to push for these changes and ensure everyone with allergies receives the care they deserve.
