Allergy UK Chief Executive takes key role in European patient Federation

Simone Miles, the Chief Executive of Allergy UK, has been appointed as the new Vice-President of the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Associations (EFA).

EFA is an independent non-profit organisation representing people living with allergies, asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) across Europe. It connects national patient associations in 24 European countries – including Allergy UK – and advocates for improved care, patient rights, prevention, research, better quality of life and healthier environments for people living with allergies and airways diseases.

We are delighted to welcome Simone Miles as EFA’s new Vice-President. Her leadership experience, commitment to improving the lives of people living with allergies and dedication to patient advocacy will be an enormous asset to EFA and our member organisations across Europe. – Susanna Palkonen, EFA Director.
