Jodie Gosling
Jodie Gosling has been the Labour MP for Nuneaton since the 2024 General Election. Prior to her election to the House of Commons, she was a primary school teacher and nursery manager, and a former civil servant. She has lived in New Arley since 2014.
Her political career began in local government when she was elected to North Warwickshire Borough Council in September 2016 for the Arley and Whitacre ward, a seat she retained in the May 2019 and May 2023 local elections. In the General Election in 2024, Jodie become the first female MP for Nuneaton. She has stated that it is a ‘privilege and honour to serve the constituency of Nuneaton and its residents’.
Jodie is the Chair of the Allergy APPG, spreading awareness about the unmet need of allergy provision and advocating for change. Outside of politics, Jodie has a complex allergy, and is mother to a son and daughter living with allergies.
