Children Invited to Share Their Allergy Journeys Through Art
The European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) is inviting children living with allergies or other immunological conditions to express their personal experiences through art.
As part of the initiative ‘Through the Eyes of Children’, young artists are encouraged to submit drawings or paintings that reflect their experiences of living with allergies or the impact of climate change on human health. The project aims to raise awareness of the daily challenges faced by children with allergies and highlight their voices in a creative and powerful way.
Every month, EAACI will select a drawing(s) to be featured in the EAACI Allergy Journal, invited by the Editor, Prof Cezmi Akdis. They will also be shared across EAACI social media channels. In addition, an exhibition will take place on-site at the EAACI – EAACI Congress 2025 in Glasgow.
Children’s artworks already featured in recent issues of the EAACI Allergy Journal can be viewed here.
