Fundraising in memory of Aaron O’Farrell

11 year old Aaron passed away on the 28th September 2014 after eating a sweet that contained nuts, causing an anaphylactic shock.

Aaron’s friends and family have set up 'Aarons Allergy Awareness' in memory of Aaron and plan to educate people about just how severe allergy can be, raise awareness of the condition which can be life-threatening, and all whilst raising vital funds for Allergy UK.

The Fundraising group have already raised over £2,500 in aid of Allergy UK. Fundraising activities have included: a crowd contribution from Sheffield Basketball Arena, a talent night at Palteron School (Aaron’s primary school), Bolsover School (Aaron’s secondary school) and a Bollywood night at Aaron's favourite restaurant, Vhojon in Mansfield. There were also donations from a collection from Chesterfield Department for Work and Pensions.

In 2015, family friend Farah Korrimbccus swam in Lake Windermere and raised sponsorship through her Facebook account.
