Spring Allergy Awareness Week 20th-26th April 2020

This Allergy Awareness Week we are putting a focus on coronavirus (COVID 19) for people living with allergic conditions such as asthma and hay fever.

The charity is receiving calls to its Helpline from people with conditions such as asthma and hay fever who are anxious about managing and understanding the symptoms of these conditions, some of which can be similar to those of coronavirus.

There are also concerns about access to and the use of the medications that people need to manage their symptoms which are exacerbated by high pollen counts at the start of the main hay fever season in the UK.

During Allergy Awareness Week the Allergy UK  will devote this area of the website to information and guidance to help and support those living with allergic conditions in this time of coronavirus. The charity’s Helpline (01322 619898) and webchat service will also be geared up to provide help and support, backed by the charity’s clinical experts.
