Group of friends complete the 10K Gloworm Neon Night Run, in memory of Aaron O’Farrell
Congratulations to Ben, Thomas, Rowan, Ewan and Adam who completed the 10K Gloworm Neon Night Run route on the night of 22nd September, in memory of their friend and brother, Aaron O’Farrell and on behalf of Allergy UK. The boys were motivated to take part in the run following the untimely death of Aaron who passed away four years ago following an anaphylactic shock due to peanut allergy.
Ben said, “Before the race, we all felt extremely motivated to finish the run and try and get some of the fastest times. We are all extremely proud of ourselves for completing the run whilst also raising donations for Allergy UK, a charity very close to all of our hearts.”
The boys have smashed their original fundraising target of £200 and are still taking donations via their JustGiving page.
These vital donations will go towards helping people with allergies throughout the UK. For further information on fundraising for Allergy UK, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Allergy UK is the leading national charity providing support, advice and information for those living with allergic disease. We provide a range of information to help people who live with allergies, as well as for organisations who want to find out more about the issues that people with allergic disease face in their daily lives.
