It’s National Eczema Week! 13th to 19th September 2021
Our Helpline gets many calls from people whose eczema is having a real impact on their quality of life, whether it’s at work or school or in their social life and relationships.
At Allergy UK we are doing a lot of work around eczema this year focused on improving the diagnosis and treatment of this distressing skin condition, and a key part of this work is to raise awareness around the realities of living with this condition.
So, during this year’s National Eczema Week we are launching a range of new resources about eczema - its diagnosis, management and treatment and the significant impact this condition can have on a person’s quality of life. There are new Factsheets on management and treatment as well as podcasts for healthcare professionals in which aspects of eczema are discussed with experts. And on World Eczema Day on 14th September, we are publishing details of our podcast in which someone who lives with eczema describes his experiences and the impact that eczema has had on his life, in discussion with a member of our clinical team.
We will be supporting all this through our social media channels and on our website this National Eczema Week.
