On Sunday 6 October, Tracy Flynn from Ayrshire took on the 13.1 mile challenge of the Great Scottish Run. Tracy began running on 19th December 2012 and has just kept going, getting the running bug! Tracy chooses to run on her own which she finds very inspiring. Tracey completed the course in 2hrs 26mins.This was her first half marathon but will certainly not be her last!
Tracy’s inspiration are her two daughters, Georgia, 11, and Millie, 7. Georgina has hayfever and Millie has anaphylaxis to egg and allergies to peas, beans and lentils as well as eczema and asthma. This makes her highly motivated to run to raise money for Allergy UK especially because as thought they might lose Millie during her first anaphylaxis, aged just 7 months. Tracy said ‘I think the work your organisation does is outstanding, thank you’.
Tracy is seen her with her greatest supporters, her husband Simon, Georgia and Millie. We are all extremely proud of Tracy who has raised a wonder £797.00 for Allergy UK!
