Hold a School Fundraising Day

All schools nationwide are welcome to get involved

If you would like to raise awareness of allergies at your child’s school whilst raising vital funds for Allergy UK then why not plan an Allergy UK school fundraising day?

A school fundraising day can be a fun way to teach children, parents and teachers about allergy in return for a small donation that will help Allergy UK continue its vital support service to 21 million allergy sufferers.

Simply ask children to wear red for the day in return for a donation to Allergy UK. This could be a red t-shirt, a red onesie, your child’s favourite red football kit or even a red wig and red painted face!

How to get started

Approach your child’s school, this may be in the first instance your child’s teacher, head of year or even head teacher. Ask if the school would be happy to support a fundraising day in aid of Allergy UK. If the answer is yes then arrange a suitable date for the school fundraising day to take place. When you reach this stage, complete a fundraising registration form so that a member of our fundraising team can fully support your plans. We will then be in touch to provide you with:

  • Poster template to send out to parents
  • Press release template to send out to local press
  • An allergy presentation suitable for assembly time
  • Allergy UK leaflets for children to take home
