70's & 80's Party to raise funds for Allergy UK
Allergy UK supporter Zoe Coates organised a fundraising party. She says:
"Hi, here is a photo of my husband and I; Not how we normally look!!
The 70’s, 80’s night was a wonderful success with it being a sell out (all 120 tickets sold) Local DJ Allen provided music which everyone started dancing to even before the food was served. A local band Narcosis played for about an hour and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dancing and listening to them. Maxine who owns the Blue Bell made the most wonderful home made pie & peas, which has received lots of positive comments.
The whole evening was good fun and was a brilliant way for everyone to get together, enjoying themselves and raising money for Allergy UK.
A big thank you for the donation of the vacuum cleaner as it was an excellent raffle prize.
The evening raised just over £600 for Allergy UK, and I have had lots of comments about when the next one is going to be!
Well done for all the excellent work at Allergy UK."
