The London Marathon 2008
My name is David Keenan and yes it is true I am attempting to run this year’s London Marathon!
I have never considered myself as a runner let alone a long distance runner, however I have now turned 30 and therefore decided to set myself a challenge and what greater one than the London Marathon. Training is going well and I feel confident of not only completing it, but also achieving a good time, as long as the weather is kind to us!
The run is not far away now and I am looking forward to it, on the day I will be wearing an Allergy UK vest with my nickname on it, Keeno so should you see me then give me a shout to keep my legs going.
I am proud to be running on behalf of Allergy UK, a lot of people suffer from allergies and this tends to go unnoticed, some very good friends of mine have two children who suffer and I am glad that I can do my bit to assist in the awareness and the work of this charity.
