Tesco Stores Ltd withdraws Storck Nimm 2 Polish Candy due to sweetened condensed milk and whey powder not being declared

All batch codes of the above product have been found to contain sweetened condensed milk and whey powder, which has not been declared on the label. This makes the product a potential health risk for people who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or milk constituents.

The product has been supplied into the UK by Hurtownia Mikolaj, Poland and distributed throughout Tesco Stores Ltd. Due to an error at the manufacturers, this product also does not carry any English labelling.

Tesco Stores Ltd have withdrawn all date codes of this product.

Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in Tesco stores to inform consumers. In addition, Tesco will contact the relevant allergy support organisations who will inform their at-risk members of the withdrawal.

No other Storck products are known to be affected.
