Advice for Parents with a New Baby
Although allergy has been studied for many years, our knowledge about allergy is really still in its infancy. However, we do now know that some families seem to have a higher level of allergy than other families.
We cannot yet give all the answers we would like to give to parents in response to questions about why and how allergy develops. Allergy in children can appear even when there is no family history of the condition. We do, however, have a better understanding of what might influence allergic disease to begin in children.
This section of our website is for parents with allergy who have a new baby. We hope to share with you our better understanding about allergy risk in childhood.
