Allergy UK are continually seeking ways to improve the quality of life for people with allergy and intolerance. Here are some of the ways that we can help you find as much information as possible to help manage your condition. 

 

Helpline

Our helpline provides practical advice on managing your allergy and contact details of your local clinics.

Fact sheets

We provide fact sheets on all common allergies and intolerances, as well as patient information leaflets. All our factsheets are certified as a quality provider of health and social care information by The Information Standard.

GPs and Primary Health Care services

We work closely with GPs and Primary Health Care services by providing up to date information and training in all aspects of allergy. Our Health Advisory Board can assist Primary Care staff needing specialist advice and our helpline advisors, where necessary.

Product Endorsement Schemes

Our Seal of Approval, The Allergy Friendly Products and the Allergy Friendly Services scheme are there to help consumers find suitable products to help manage their allergy.

Support contacts

We have a nationwide network of support contacts, who have been through the experience of living or caring for someone with an allergic condition. They are a dedicated group of people happy to offer advice and support to fellow sufferers.

Translation cards

Our translation cards help protect those with food allergies when travelling abroad and are available in 30 languages. The cards contain a tailored allergy alert message, an emergency message, and a card explaining your allergy for restaurants, to help you when eating out.
